Avery Timmons
Avery Timmons is a Chicago-based author holding a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing with a concentration in fiction from Columbia College Chicago.Her debut novel, a young adult fantasy book titled THICKER THAN WATER, was published in September 2025 with Wild Ink Publishing. MAIMED, a YA fantasy novel set in the same universe, will be coming soon.She is represented by Gabriella Melendez at Great Dog Literary and is currently on submission with a YA contemporary romance novel.Regardless of genre, she loves to write about protagonists who are trying to figure out who they want to be and their place in the world. She often draws inspiration from the other things she loves besides books: music, theater, and the city of Chicago.
